Bachelorette Games Gone Very Wrong

I have a funny story about a bachelorette party I attended not too long ago. One of my good friends was getting married; her maid of honor did a splendid job with the party.The decorations were gorgeously done, and all the bride’s friends were invited to come. There were also a lot of fun bachelorette games planned. And yet there was one game that turned out to be not such a good idea.The maid of honor thought it would be a funny idea to for everyone to drink margaritas during this game, and if you didn’t want to answer a question, you had to finish off your drink. At first it didn’t seem like a bad idea.It was a large group of girls, and what girl doesn’t like gossip and sharing funny stories? Unfortunately, when we were about halfway through, the game took a turn for the worse. The ladies were coming up with question that ended up turning the place into something that looked like an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Rather than moving on to the other bachelorette games, the girls were stuck on this one.There was a lot of gut spilling, and some of them were sobbing as they told about their husbands or boyfriends. It started out as funny stories about men, and now it had become a contest about who had the worst relationship!Others who hadn’t lost their nerve yet tried to console the sobbing girls before tossing in their own stories. When it was nearly over, a couple of girls were just about ready to fall over into the party decorations. Definitely a case of one of those bachelorette games gone bad.I saw back and watched it all in horror, since I remained one of the few sober ones. As I got ready to leave, I couldn’t help wondering if there was going to be a wedding after all?
