Aishwarya Rai-Khakee #39;s last take with Aishwarya Rai
Here’s an interesting trivia about the shoot of Khakee. Even as arrangements were being made about the announcement dates, Raj Kumar Santoshi was shooting till the last minute.
Only a song to be picturised on Aishwarya Rai and Akshaye Kumar was left. Since Ash is fully devoted to Gurinder Chaddha’s Bride and Prejudice, she pleaded with Chaddha to leave her for three days to complete Khakee’s shoot. As luck would have it, the first day it rained cats and dogs and hence Santoshi could not conduct the shooting. Praying for the next day, the weather seemed brighter for the other two days, and the shoot completed. Wonder what would have Ash done, had the weather not supported her.
